Account Info
How do I
start an account?
To open a new account in the Chart Parts store, simply click the "Your
Account" button. You will be asked to complete a form with all of
your contact information. Once you have entered this user profile into
the system and selected a password for your account, you can move throughout
the store without having to re-enter this information.
What if I forget
my sign-on name and/or password?
Your user name in the Chart Parts store is simply your e-mail address.
If you forget the password that you selected when you set up your account,
you can request an e-mail reminder. To generate an automated e-mail message
containing your password, click on the "Your Account" button,
and complete the password request form. If you are currently logged in,
you will need to log out to see this form. This message will always be
sent to the primary e-mail address associated with the account.
How do I
change my password?
To change your password, click on the "Your Account" button, then
select "Edit User Profile." The form will require you to enter
your old password as well as your new password. You will be asked to enter
the new password a second time for confirmation.
How do I change
my billing address?
To change your billing address, click on the "Your Account" button,
then select "Edit User Profile." The form will allow you to
edit the details of you account profile, including your billing address.
Be prepared to enter your password when editing your user profile.
How do I change
my shipping address?
The Chart Parts store allows you to send each order to the shipping destination
of your choice. When you check out your order, you will be asked to select
a shipping option. Your first option is to have the order delivered to
your billing address. To do this, just leave the button checked that reads
"Ship to Billing Address" on the check out screen. If you wish
to have an order delivered to an address other than the billing address,
select the button that reads "Specify Other Shipping Address."
If this button is selected, you need to supply an alternate address in
the form. When you fill in this alternate shipping address, you can check
the box labeled "save this shipping address in my user profile."
If this box is checked, this alternate shipping address will be stored
as a preset in your account profile. It will replace any alternate shipping
address that may have previously been stored with your account, but it
will have no effect on your billing address or other account profile information.
How do I change
my account information?
To change your account information, click on the "Your Account"
button, then select "Edit User Profile." The form will allow
you to edit the details of you account profile. Be prepared to enter your
password when editing your user profile.
Finding Your
Part
How do I
find the part I need?
There are two ways that you can locate a specific part in the Chart Parts
store, by browsing or by searching. To browse for a part, you start by
selecting a product category from the menu to the left, then simply follow
the links through the subcategories until you see a list of available
products. To search for a specific part, enter your keyword(s) into the
form labeled "search" and click the button next to it. This
will return a listing of all parts that correspond with the term you selected,
organized by department. It will also provide a list of departments or
product types associated with your search term.
What if the part
that I’m looking for isn’t listed?
ChartParts.com is growing all the time, but there are still products in
our inventory that are not yet available on line. If you need a part that
you don't see listed, please contact us so that we can get to work putting

Ordering
Is my online
order secure?
The Chart Parts store is secured by a VeriSign SSL certificate. Any information
submitted to the Chart Parts site regarding your account or your orders
is received through a secure Internet connection.
How do I add an
item to my shopping cart?
From the product detail page, just click the "Add to Cart" button
and the part you're viewing will be placed in your active cart. If you
want to add more than one of a particular item, you can specify the quantity
in the form field next to this button.
How do I delete
something from my shopping cart?
As you review your shopping cart, you can delete a particular item by
clicking the "Remove" button at the far right of that item's
line.
Will my shopping
cart be saved for future visits?
At any time, you can save the current contents of your shopping cart by
clicking the "Save Cart" button on the cart page. This will
record the contents of your cart so that you can pick up where you left
off next time you visit the store. You should note that your cart will
not be saved automatically by the system, so any changes that you make
to your shopping cart will not be stored unless you specifically ask to
save them.
How do I complete
an order?
When you have finished adding and deleting items from your shopping cart,
click on the "Checkout" button. You will be asked a few questions
about shipping and payment, and that's it.
In what currency are prices displayed?
All prices on www.chartparts.com are displayed in U.S. Dollars.
What methods of
payment do you accept?
You can pay for your order by credit card or purchase order. Chart Parts
accepts the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Please note that the purchase order option is available only to customers
with established accounts at Chart Industries. To establish an account,
call Customer Service at 1-800-400-4683.
When will I receive
confirmation that I placed an order?
As soon as your order is received into the system, an automated e-mail
receipt will be delivered to the primary e-mail address associated with
the account. Once the order has been processed, you will receive an e-mail
notification of shipment that will include the UPS tracking number for
the package.
What is "comments"
window for at the end of the checkout process?
The optional "comments" window can be used to communicate details,
feedback, shipping instructions or any other information you may wish
to include about your order. The comments are “free form”
and yours to use as you deem necessary.
Can you ship the
parts to me collect via UPS?
Absolutely!
Enter your UPS account number in the Comments on the Order Confirmation
screen and we will ship your UPS packages collect to you.
How do I use another
carrier besides UPS?
Select "UPS Ground" in the Shipping Information screen and
then use the "Comments" on the next screen (Order Confirmation)
to specify your carrier, your account number and level of service. Chart
Parts will ship your order collect to you via your carrier of choice.
When will my parts
ship?
The Chart Parts Distribution Center will make every effort to ship stock
parts within 24 hours of receiving an order during normal business days.
Normal business days are Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
(US Central Time).
Orders that include parts that are not available to ship immediately will
initiate an e-mail to the purchaser indicating the estimated shipping
date of the products. Once an order has been processed, you will receive
an e-mail notification of shipment that will include the UPS tracking
number for the package. Should you need immediate information on specific

Where do the parts
shipments originate?
Parts are shipped from New Prague, Minnesota, which is located approximately
35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities. Occasionally parts are dropped
shipped directly from a vendor to reduce lead time and minimize shipping
and handling.
What is your return/exchange
policy?
Chart Parts has an established returned goods process. To initiate this
process, please contact customer service at 1-800-400-4683.
